Tricostar was the first company to develop a PDA based time recording software targeted at local authority legal departments called Timebase Real Time. The early versions were created in Foxpro and a few local authorities are still using these versions which are being supported by Tricostar.
Today Timebase has grown significantly in functionality and has been redeveloped to exploit the latest technologies creating the perfect platform for 100% web-based shared services, in a cloud computing environment.
Timebase is now a CRM based system that can be configured to the client’s requirements along with a powerful workflow and reporting engine that enables government organisations to manage processes and share data within their various departmental organisations.
The system’s multi-layered security model permits the inter-departmental sharing of the database and the hardware platform. This significantly reduces the organisation’s overall infrastructure and knowledge costs required to maintain the system environment.
The latest version of Timebase now includes:

Sage is a FTSE quoted company with a turnover of £776.6 million with 4.7 million customers worldwide. It continues to invest 28% of its software revenues into R&D.
