![]() | National Assembly for Wales choose Timebase to manage MP’s Cases (Video Case Study)28th November 2011 |
Timebase is chosen to provide 200+ users across 50+ offices Case Management on a Secure Shared Service platformIn 2009 The National Assembly for Wales (NAfW) chose Timebase to provide 200+ users across 50+ offices Case Management on a Secure Web-based Shared Service platform. The system has been implemented to assist Assembly Members and their Case Workers to manage comments, compliments and complaints within their constituencies. Timebase is being used as a Shared Service to provide 50+ offices with a case management application. The application is being hosted and supported by Siemens (now Atos IT Solutions and Services Ltd) and the NAfW in Cardiff Bay. The system has been integrated with each constituency office to manage and add constituents directly from the local electoral register saving significant amounts of time in verifying and adding cases to the system. The application security has been configured to ensure that no constituency office can see information from another meaning 50+ separate applications are being provided through one application environment. In turn this has provided huge cost benefits to the assembly and significantly reduced risk as they are now only supporting one application on one server. The project was successfully delivered through collaborative working between Tricostar, Siemens (now Atos) and The NAfW over a 3 month period from December 2009 to February 2010. Click here to watch ‘National Assembly for Wales customer case study, Tricostar’ produced by Sage UK About Timebase Timebase (based on Sage CRM) can be configured to a client’s requirements without any effects on the underlying code. It comes with a powerful user driven workflow and reporting engine that enables government organisations to manage processes and share data within their various departmental organisations. The system’s multi-layered security model permits the inter-departmental sharing of the database and the hardware platform. This significantly reduces the organisation’s overall infrastructure and knowledge costs required to maintain the system environment. Click here to read more detail about Timebase from Tricostar. |
