“In House Legal Department Initiative Award”

Tricostar is delighted to announce that Legalease, publisher of Legal Technology Journal, Legal Business and the Legal 500 series, has awarded Suffolk Legal the ‘In House Legal Department Initiative of the Year Award’.  In the judges opinion the bid for this award by Suffolk Councils was so outstanding that, for the first time ever, they nominated them as outright winner in this category and did not shortlist any other applications for this award.

Accepting the award on behalf of the 8 Suffolk Authorities Eric Whitfield – Assistant Director (Scrutiny & Monitoring) for Suffolk County Council said “It is extremely gratifying that after the 8 authorities won The Cipfa, Shared Services Award 2007, that the private sector has recognised what we have achieved in using leading edge technology from Tricostar. This system has underpinned our ability to operate the first working corporate shared service, in local government, by a virtual, multi-located team of legal service providers across the whole County”
